Ms. Tackett has been a member of the staff at Eastpointe Internists for the last 5 years. She holds a national certification by the American Academy of Professional Coders for the last 3 years and continues to maintain her certification yearly.

Eastpointe Internists, P.C. participates with numerous insurance carriers, please see the section under more information labeled (Health Plans) for a current list of participating carriers. If you have any further questions regarding participation, please do not hesitate to contact the billing department at the above number.

Eastpointe Internists Billing Policies:

Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We will as a courtesy bill your insurance carrier(s); however, the patient is responsible for all non-covered services, deductibles and copay(s).

No Show policy- If you are unable to keep your appointment, we expect that you would call the office at (586) 573-6669 as soon as possible to cancel your appointment. If your appointment has not been cancelled, you will be assessed a fee of $15.00 for non-cancellation.

Prescription Policy- Prescriptions are to be renewed at your scheduled appointment. If for some reason you have lost your prescriptions, misplaced your medications, or are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, there will be a $10.00 prescription fee assessed to your account.

Statement Policy- As a courtesy to patients, we will send two statements without a charge to the patient. If no payment is received by the third statement the account will accrue monthly statement fees of $15.00 until a payment is made on the account. In order to not receive statement fees, please make sure to make a monthly payment on your account.
